Very Good

I liked the location very close to markets ,restaurants, and subway. The breakfast was very organised with a variety of food, mainly Japanese but also toast and jam, eggs and ham, juices and yoghurt with fresh fruits. The staff was helpful and friendly at all the time, they welcome us with complimentary toothbrushes, a selection of teas, hear pads, comb, sponge, and other bits. All day, free coffee from the machine it was great to have. The room was clean, and the mattress was very comfortable, I was so happy to find 3 big bottles for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash instead of the usual tiny little bottle. In the room there is also a washing and dryer machine ,just amazing.

I can't find anything that I didn't like it.

Wonderful

Very helpful and courteous staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was a mix of Japanese and Continental and it was excellent! Loved the coffee available in the lobby throughout the day. Having a washing machine in the room made it very convenient for us.

I enjoyed staying in the hotel and will book it again for my next trip.

I especially liked the varieties of vegetables served in the breakfast. If there are more hot dishes, it would be to my liking. Also, I liked the Itoen tea bag provided in the hotel and the washing machine in the room.

There's no bottled water in the room.

Nice hotel for a short stay

The hotel is very clean and in a very good location, the room is small but good enough for 2 people. For Japan standard is good. The only 1 thing I have we stayed 3 nights and no cleaning nor towels changed done. We were ok with that, but at least once for the towels . Otherwise all the rest is good. We had breakfast included, but it was average for us. Not more.

Worthy Stay

Room was comfortable. The Washer/Dryer with Detergent provided was a plus. Hotel is situated at a quite street so it is very peaceful. It will be good if the location of the Annex Building was provided as well because when we arrived basing on the map we reach the Annex Building first before the Main Building. location of hotel is near to a mini supermarket as well as a few convenience stores, so no need to worry if you are hungry in the middle of the night.

The location is very convenient, close to the subway, and bus stops are within a 10-minute walk. Our room was clean, spacious, with comfortable beds. The breakfast was good. Overall, it's a high value hotel.

None. But it would be better if the breakfast included fresh fruits.

Wonderful

Great location near Karasuma Oike station which made getting everywhere in Kyoto easy. It also was walking distance to shops and restaurants. Quiet rooms and modern facilities. The in room washing machine/dryer was awesome as after 2x weeks travel we needed clean clothes. I'd recommend it based on location alone.

Smallish rooms. We stayed 5 nights and it was a bit tedious as there was no where to put anything. The in house restaurant looked a bit sad we didn't go in there. Heaps of better options just outside great breakky Cafe immediately around corner at 7 Eleven

relaxing and quiet stay

It was one of the nicest business hotel we have stayed in. There is a cozy-looking common room at reception where you can make coffee & tea, and a nice garden to look at outside. The room was clean, and staff were friendly. The location was great, it's just a few minutes walk to the subway or a bus station, it was very easy to access tourist sites from the hotel. There are also lots of really good eating options around the area, a great alternative to more crowded and touristic places.

Good experience

Good location in the central area, convenience shops were easy to found in nearby areas and there were also interesting shops to visits. The room was bigger than we thought about, facilities were more up-to-date, the extra bonus was we have a washing machine inside of the room pairing with detergent so we can do laundry when we need! Stuff were friendly and always tried to help.

Checkin time was late (after 3pm) so we had to wait and there were smells in the toilet so we feel maybe the cleanliness might need to improve. We got instructions on restricted room cleaning everyday, not sure if the hotel support full cleaning during the stay.

Wonderful

The hotel seemed quite new and was in a great location. Our twin room was a good size and very clean and the washing machine came in handy. The front desk service was terrific. There was a nice area in the lobby to relax and have complimentary coffee. The breakfast buffet was small but had a good variety of food.

Exceptional

Walking distance to markets and Kichi Kichi. Walking distance to subway and super close to 7/11 and Starbucks for snacks and coffee. Quiet as the hotel is it is not on the main street.

Coffee machine needs to be cleaned. Especially the container that holds the coffee beans.

Well located, clean and welcoming hotel.

Short walk to hotel from the subway station. Well located close to numerous nearby attractions ie Nijo Castle. Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. On site restaurant provided excellent breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Great value for the price

For what we expected… this place was great. They held our luggage before and after check out. Rooms were large and spacious and had a table with chairs so we could eat. There is a 7/11 right down the street. They give you coins for free sake in the lobby. Also free coffee and lattes. I would definitely recommend.

When we went into our room, the shower was not fully cleaned and there was a big gob of something orange on the wall. I cleaned it off, but was kinda gross.
